Anchors Aweigh

it was your stunted emotional growth that led to this
problem
that led us to part ways in
turn
guiding me to reevaluate whats
inside
me that delivered an understanding of my emotional
disconnect
that brought me to this thought;

i have dropped anchor. and its not my fault if the ground that i seek is not strong enough to withstand the weight that i drag. this anchor, you see, dredges the soil that yearns to become a locus for my mooring. and today you may be strong, today you may have the will to hold fast, but the anchor knows that soon your will cannot match your desire. so my weight lifts itself from your core and plods along begging to find a secure spot so it may rest, comfortably and without cause for worry or neglect.
