a jumbo jet hanging low in the sky turned auburn by the lenses looked through while riding behind that school bus that mocked me while riding the moped.

the city skyline 30 miles to my right while i took that sweeping left turn at 30 miles per hour.

the spanish tile home that sat unused on the beachfront in marblehead.

the bouncing souls concert in troy one day after my cousins wedding in schenectady.

and yes of course you too...my little gaia. and your bizarre sidekick.

all these things, the dead nips, bottle caps, butts, bugs, and birds i passed on the way, the city bus that tried in vain to flatten me, the white SUV that failed to yield, the smiles and the frowns, the tiara's and the crowns that failed to impress, the suits and the ties and the credit cards with worn strips from too much slide, the velvet cougars with burnt cherry lipstick begging for one last meaningful compliment.

i noticed them too. and ill soon not forget.
